UV Index (Internal)

The Internal UV Index Sensor integrated into the einstein™ data logger measures ultraviolet (UV) radiation levels in real time within the 290–390 nm wavelength range. The sensor calculates the UV Index, enabling students to investigate solar radiation and environmental conditions through hands-on scientific exploration.

Using the internal UV sensor, students can explore:
• Changes in UV exposure throughout the day
• The effect of clouds, shade, and surfaces on UV radiation
• Seasonal and environmental variations in sunlight intensity
• Relationships between UV radiation, weather, and environmental conditions

Its built-in design enables immediate outdoor measurements without requiring external accessories, making it ideal for environmental science, weather studies, and field investigations.
